Lisa Reinhardt lives in the coastal community of Encinitas,
a small beach town in northen San Diego County. The richly
beautiful surroundings of her locale are a constant inspiration
to her art. Lisa is influenced equally by two schools of art;
the impressionist masters' use of color and light, and the late
renaissance artists' sense of form and structure.

She is drawn to strong geometric compositions, but her palette use softens the lines to the viewer. Lisa frowns on the current art vogue
that assumes "high art" has to be shocking or provocative. The artist believes that painterly technique and compostion will always stand
the test of time.
